What each term means
- Installed since July 2025
- Batteries that claimed federal certificates, counted by the postcode they were installed in.
- Provisional
- The latest month. Installers have twelve months to claim, so it always rises later.
- Estimate
- Homes with solar but no battery: solar systems since 2001 minus batteries since July 2025, capped at the number of homes.
- Up to
- The federal rebate at the government clearing house price of $40 per certificate. Installers usually pay the lower market price.
- Advertised price
- A price a seller publishes on its own website, read on the date shown. Not a quote and not a price anyone paid.
- Supply only
- The battery alone, delivered. No installation.
- Installed
- Supplied and installed, before any rebate is taken off.
- Installed, after rebate
- Supplied and installed, with the seller's estimate of the rebate already taken off.
- With solar panels
- A package that includes solar panels as well as the battery.
- Expansion module
- An extra module added to an existing battery.
